Ecovantage wins major residential strata project
Released: 15 March, 2015
Congratulations to energy efficiency solutions company Ecovantage, who were recently successful in winning a multi-building LED lighting upgrade for the Raleigh Park Estate in the Eastern Sydney suburb of Kensington.
More than 400 Chamaeleon lights, including both standard and emergency models, were installed in the car parks and fire stairs in five of the high rise apartment complexes at this site.
enLighten Australia worked closely with Ecovantage in supplying technical product support, including assistance with product specification to meet Australian Building Code compliance.
Ecovantage managed the installation and documentation for the generation of NSW Government Energy Savings Certificates to provide a financial rebate for the residential strata property's Owner's Corporation.
As a result the apartments are now enjoying improved lighting levels, whilst also making savings in their ongoing energy and maintenance costs.
Christopher Heath, who is responsible for managing the strata buildings at the Estate said “The installations were done in a very efficient and professional manner. The electricians were courteous and worked around the residents as they wanted to access or exit the garage areas. The committees and residents are delighted with the end result and look forward to reduced electricity bills.”
