2013 Cleantech Open Top 30 announced

With 150 entries received for the 2013 awards, the Australian Cleantech Open competition, now in its 3rd year, is growing in strength and outreach.

 The three most popular categories were renewable energy, air, water & waste and energy efficiency, with the Cleantech Built Environment award receivng the largest number of nominations, followed closely by the ARENA Renewable Energy Award.

This month will kick off the three month Cleantech Business Accelerator program for the top 30 companies who have been shortlisted,. See list here

Companies will be matched with experienced industry mentors, including Enlighten's own director, Tony Fehon, to prepare business plans to be submitted for further judging.

2012 Competition winner  Enlighten Australia's CEO, Steve Cahill,  will present to the companies as part of the two day mentoring workshop to be held at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney, this month.

We wish all semi finalists good luck in the next stages of the competition, which will culminate in a final week of investor connect sessions, export readiness workshops and Chinese trade mission briefings before the gala awards ceremony, to be held in Sydney on October 2nd.
