enLighten has brought together a unique mixture of skills and talents. Combing a strong understanding of operational necessities, the economic benefits of low energy use and a cutting edge knowledge of LED lighting, our team is uniquely placed to provide optimum low energy lighting solutions that provide 5 year NPV's of around 20% pa.

Our research and knowledge of LED lighting has already led to the development of a solution to the electrical safety issues surrounding LED tubes as a retrofit for T8 fluorescent tubes. This innovation was granted a Patent in late 2009!

The company has built a Management Team that knows its product, understands its market, and has a vision for the future. The balance of creativity, product knowledge and our markets' requirements makes the team uniquely placed to provide innovative, practical solutions to energy efficient lighting requirements.

David Whitfield

David is the founder and CEO of enLighten Australia. David's love of technology and a strong belief in building a better environment have combined within the field of LED lighting. David's strengths lie in his creative thinking ability and this has already lead to several significant design breakthroughs resulting in Patent applications. These Patents have established enLighten at the forefront of future lighting design. David has a background in communications, is a safety professional, and is the holder of several Patents in other fields.

Steve Cahill

Steve, our General Manager has 25 years experience in Facility Management and commercial property in Australia and overseas. Steve's expertise in building services and his understanding of the needs of landlords and tenants will assist our clients in maximising cost reductions, energy savings and lower greenhouse gas emissions. Steve has a Masters degree in Business and Technology.

Tony Fehon

Tony is a non-executive director with extensive start-up and new market corporate experience. Tony has served on many public boards including as an Executive Director at Macquarie Bank and a director of Ardent Leisure (formerly Macquarie Leisure Group). Tony is currently a director of Melbourne based investment and advisory firm Wingate Group and is a Fellow if the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

The future

enLighten has a plan for significant growth over the next five years. As part of this growth, the company will continue to target key personnel to enhance its management team to ensure the company has the right strengths and balances as it becomes the major LED lighting supplier in Australia.
